1. My birthday is April 1st. Yes, I know what day that is.
2. Does that make me a fool? You decide.
3. I’m an introvert, and meeting new people is tough for me.
4. According to the Myers-Briggs personality test, i’m an ISTP.
6. Public speaking is something I’m comfortable with.
7. I’ve spoken in front of user groups for Computer Associate’s Portal product.
8. The CA people jokingly told my boss they wanted to hire me.
9. If it weren’t for the travel involved, I would have seriously accepted the job.
10.I have three sons, ages 21, 18 and 14.
11.Two of my sons are out of the nest, and the youngest goes between his dad and I every other week.
12.When I see their dad, I swear I could have never had sex with him.
13.Therefore, it seems logical to me that my boys are the second, third, and fourth Immaculate Conceptions.
14. My second toe is longer that my big toe. A sign of intelligence, I’m told.
15. My favorite comfort food is Cream of Wheat with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
16. No, I’m serious. Ice cream–NOT ice milk or frozen yogurt. It’s amazing.
17. When I was little, I wanted to be just like Mary Richards when I grew up.
18. I turned out to be a lot like Rhoda Morgenstern.
19. I was married for 13 years.
20. We lived together for 2 years before that.
21. I’ve done stand-up comedy.
22. I brought the house down.
23. I was scared shitless. I don’t ever want to do that again.
24. I once dreampt of having my writing published.
25. Jacqueline Susann was my favorite author as a young girl.
26. I once snuck Valley of the Dolls from my mom’s bedstand. It’s still one of my favorite trashy books.
27. I finally got my some of my writing published.
28. Although an article in a Life Insurance Administration Manual isn’t really that exciting.
29. I had a gastric bypass in 2006, and have lost 132 pounds.
30. I still have 17 pounds to go to reach my goal.
31. My biggest regret is that I never graduated from college.
32. My biggest accomplishment has been having my 3rd son without any meds or support.
33. My husband wasn’t there for the birth–a mechanic, he was in the middle of a brake job, and told me to go on to the hospital without him.
34. So I did, driving in our big full-size Bronco, and pulling over during the contractions.
35. At the hospital the doctor broke my water, and the baby’s heartbeat went from 140 to 60 beats per minute — so — no Demerol. He came out just fine, and is a beautiful child.

37. Shortly after that I had my tubes tied.
38. I like to wear my hair curly and wild.
39. I wear trifocals.
40. I have no tattoos or body piercings, and I’m okay with that.
41. I’m a small town girl at heart.
42. I believe that hot black coffee and New York style cheesecake is an acceptable meal, any time, day or night.
43. I don’t believe in love at first sight. If it ever does happen, I hope I’m wearing my trifocals so I’ll know what I’m looking at.
44. I used to wear size 10 shoes (women’s), but because of the weight loss I now wear a size 9.
45. My grandma used to tell me that my big feet provide “a solid foundation.”
46. She taught me to knit.
47. She also advised me on birth control:

50. Hold it there all night.
51. In first grade I thought you could get pregnant by kissing.
52. Also in first grade, Jay Dee Coombs was the first boy to kiss me.
53. I slugged him in the stomach as hard as I could.
54. It was years before a boy kissed me again.
55. In a Christmas Eve rendition of Immanuel I sung an acapella solo. My husband didn’t want to come watch, so he didn’t.

95. The song “On and On” by Stephen Bishop still makes me cry. It was a high school love thing.
96. I’m a snob for European cars.
97. I love dark, rich colors. Pastels drive me crazy. In a bad way.
98. I was good friends with an Idaho State Treasurer. While she was still in office, she took me to all sorts of parties full of politicians.
99. At one of these parties she introduced me to then-Senator Al Gore.
100. He wasn’t impressed.
101. Neither was I.
