information overload
What's this? Knitting? Spinning? Dyeing? Yes that's right, ladies--I'm mad---M-A-A-A-D, I say! Muuhahaha!
Here's the rug that I'm making for the girlfriend of my cousin who gave me 7 bags o'wool. Yes sir, yes sir, SEVEN bags full. I've spun up the yarn and dyed it using Gaywool Pumpkin and Avocado colors. I'd like to make it 36" in diameter. It's almost there, thank goodness, as there are other spinning projects I'd like to get to.

not quite measuring up
Here's another view of said rug, draped over a living room chair. Why not on the floor? Dog hair, baby. Dog hair. You can't believe how it sticks towool everything.

I love this color combo.
What does one do when one finds an entire skein of leftover Ancient Fern Peace Fleece from a project? Sophie, of course! Yes, yes, I know I've already made a black and Ancient Fern Sophie, but it was such a success with the gal I gave it to, and now my mom isdemanding begging for one.

24 rows down, 30 more to go
One of the totally cool things about this pattern is that as you knit, it becomes a basket for the yarn being used. Handy, handy, right Sandy?

a tisket, a tasket, use Sophie as a basket!
Wow, after all this actual knitting information, I'm feeling a bit dizzy here. Knit on, chicksters!
