is it any wonder I drink?
My oldest son turned 18 last December. Those of you who know me might remember that Nick raced a little Mustang in the mini-stock class last summer. He did really well with that little car, consistently beating some local racing veterans. Well, this year he's moved up with the big boys.

Nick took his new car on it's maiden voyage this last weekend at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, Idaho. Since Joey had a big soccer tournament in Boise, I wasn't able to go, but my folks went and snapped the photo above. He raced in the main event, 75 laps, and he spun out 3 times. Mom said it was probably a good thing I wasn't there. Without plenty of valium and alcohol, anyway.
Knitting? Spinning? Dyeing? Oh yeah, baby--it's all goin' on. Now if I could just find that camera....
