After removing the yarn from the olive dyebath, there was still some color left in the water. So I added a tablespoon of white vinegar, and some white fleece. Thirty minutes later I had this beautiful light olive (almost a lime) green. Did I ever truly see color before starting these dye experiments? Every time I remove the fiber from the dyebath, I feel as if I'm seeing that color for the very first time. It's amazing.
